Ordinary -to- OUT OF THIS WORLD!

I am in LOVE with building a sustainable business from HOME!

At first I was SO in love with Beachbody products like P90X, Brazil Butt Lift, Shakeology, 21 Day FIX... (I still am)... but NOW... I am MORE in love with the business model fo
r helping people.

I HAVE to pass it on. It would be SELFISH not to pass on an opportunity like this.

I can honestly say my life went from completely ordinary to truly out of this world. God has ALWAYS blessed my life & I have always been very thankful for everything and everyone in it. BUT... God truly DID use this opportunity to show me how GOOD life can be when the financial TUG is gone! God uses this opportunity to develop me as a leader, as a person, as a wife, and as a Christian.

My marriage is stronger. There isn't a TUG on our relationship because of TIGHT finances anymore. I am FULFILLED by having a CHALLENGE in my life that I LOVE. I am filled by HELPING other people!

I have met some of my VERY BEST FRIENDS ever because of THIS opportunity!

I am looking for people like me.

Wanting true financial freedom.
Willing to learn.
20's or 30's.
Women.
With a DESIRE to be healthy (not perfect).
Who LIKE helping people.
Who WANT to be DEBT FREE.

You can continue your full time job if you want.. or you can make helping people from home your full time job.

Either way... I am looking for 8 new business builders.

I will mentor you one-on-one... sharing EVERYTHING I have learned to start strong in this business & stay strong.

I will show you how to replace your full time income & exceed it. I will show you how to build a 6 figure income FROM HOME.... by helping others... and getting in the BEST shape of YOUR life.

... I will help you see how much you are capable of - both in your own fitness & in the lives of others!

10 Spots ---> 2 already TAKEN.

One-on-One mentoring for 2014.

Don't be intimidated - believe in YOURSELF and trust that I will show you the ropes!

*New coaches only.
*My coaches only.

This is for those who are READY for a CHANGE!!!

If you want to be one of my 8 selected:

21 Day FIX : the GO-TO blog for the BEST start! RECIPES * REVIEWS * RESULTS

Hey everyone!!

As you all know... we have been SO excited about the 21 Day Fix... the BRAND NEW Beachbody program designed and introduced to us by Autumn Calabrese. She is a celebrity trainer & national-level bikini competitor. She is a rising star in the fitness community because she is helping SO MANY people lose weight and get fit with a SIMPLE portion control and consistent exercise program.

So... lets cut to the chase!!! I just finished my FIRST full week of the program.

It was EVERYTHING I hoped for and more
... really!

So let me just jump in.

FITNESS REVIEW:
I absolutely LOVE the layout of these workouts.
  • Different workout every day.
  • 30 minutes long.
  • Active recovery day is YOGA and is SO relaxing.
  • The workouts are broken up into a series of SETS. So... for instance... {in one workout} you will do 8 rounds total. In each round there are 2 exercises... and usually you repeat each exercise twice. Its simple. You have a 10-30 second rest period in between exercises.
  • There is a GREAT modifier and ALWAYS an option to STEP it up for a greater challenge.
  • Autumn is the PERFECT mix of motivator & cheerleader.
  • Long enough to be CHALLENGED but still quick enough to not be drawn out (no endless chatter).

NUTRITION REVIEW:
This is the most GENIUS meal plan I've ever followed.

  • You eat regular food!
  • Container portion control system is EASY.
  • You can have wine and chocolate ;)
  • You do NOT go hungry.
  • You LEARN how to maintain your results and FUEL your body!
Here are some of my meal examples! This is FUN!

Below is ONE day of FOOD!

Here are some of my other favorites!

Typical Breakfast: 1 red, 1 purple, 1 yellow:

Ezekiel Toast, Turkey Bacon & Strawberries!

 Typical Snack: 1 red & 1 green:

Greek Yogurt with 1 Stevia packet & Carrots!

Typical Lunch: 1 red

Shakeology with water!
...lately I have been drinking the new Strawberry!

Typical Dinner: 1 red, 2 green, 1 blue:

Baked Chicken, Brown Rice, Green Beans & 1/4 Avocado!

"Dessert" ideas: 1 orange 1-2 tsp:

Raw Sunflower Seeds & Almond Butter!
{Looks weird but it is YUMMY!}

"Dessert" idea #2: 1 yellow, 1 orange, & 1-2 tsp:

*Poor Girl Butter Cake*

1/2 Whole Wheat English Muffin, Raw Sunflower Seeds & Almond Butter!
{Looks REALLY weird but it is YUMMY!}

Now let's talk about results....

This is just ONE week in... literally 7 days.

This is  my friend, challenger, and fellow coach Anna. Follow her on Facebook. She is a mom of TWO and busy military wife. She has some GREAT core progress in just 7 days! Sounds crazy >>> but this program is legit.

Then there is me... same thing... many inches lost and leaning out for sure! Again.... 7 days!

We aren't perfect & we aren't claiming to be. Just giving credit to this program because it is simple, it is healthy & it is effective.

Anna & I are both in a category where we don't have a lot of weight to lose (although it is definitely there -- trust me)... but this program is for ALL ends of the spectrum. Girls like me who would love to LEAN out, tone, possibly lose 5-15lbs. And then there are people like Deon.

He did 10 rounds of the 21 Day Fix and lost 111lbs!!!

So awesome! And don't forget... there IS an excellent
modifier. There is an OPTION to make it harder. So literally... this is for ALL fitness levels.

My current Challenge Group is doing such great job! They are living the healthiest they ever have in a COMMUNITY of support. If you are interested in joining umm next group -- contact me ASAP. They ALWAYS fill up but they are the KEY to lasting results!

I cannot WAIT to update you all after WEEK TWO!

Be sure you hit *SUBSCRIBE* on the top right of the blog to follow!

Hope to connect with you on Facebook too!! Regular posting and encouragement there!

Don't be afraid to reach out! I am happy to help however I can! Don't think... OH I could never get results... I promise you... you can.

Here is a little idea of WHAT my private Facebook Challenge Groups are about!

Thanks for reading!!

FRIENDS who workout.

Isn't it SO MUCH fun to have FRIENDS join you in whatever you are doing?

Shopping. Movies. Painting. Vacationing.

----------------------------> WORKING OUT!

Now... let's be real.

Who has TIME to get together with all their friends to workout 5 days a week?

I DO!

Because my friends get together ONLINE and support each other!!

I met these girls here because of a ONLINE Challenge Group I was a part of.

>> IT CHANGED MY LIFE.

How does it work?

Easy...

We all do a HOME workout.
We drink our healthy meal replacement.
We prepare CLEAN meals for the week.
We check in to the PRIVATE online group once a day & share...

>> IDEAS  >> STRUGGLES  >> SUCCESSES

It is so much fun to have the encouragement and support of my friends who are on the SAME journey as I am! They have unique suggestions that help me when I reach an obstacle.

We reach our GOALS TOGETHER and that creates SUCH a strong bond ---> and we are forever friends now!!

We are all coaches now (girls in the picture) because we each had such great fitness results that we wanted to pass it on to other women, and help other women feel the LOVE and support that we experienced!!!

And so.... MONTHLY ONLINE CHALLENGE GROUPS continue!!

If you are interested in some AWESOME girl-friend support... message me soon!! I am SO passionate about helping other women find confidence and HAPPINESS in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

If you are ready to join my next Online Challenge Group go ahead and fill out the application!

I am looking forward to ALL the women who CONQUER some serious fears and discontent this year!!!

 Looking forward to meeting you!!

WE CANNOT WAIT for this program to come out!!

Be in our TEST group!!

Lastly... I will leave you with these FUN facts :)

Few tips about P90X3 that you might want to know.

1. All workouts are 30 minutes long

2. The warm-up is 2 minutes and then constant work for the remaining 28 minutes

3. There is a separate warm-up disk called Cold Start if you need a longer warm-up due to environment, time of day, etc

4. P90X3 is a separate program from P90X and P90X2, not a harder version

5. Anyone can start on P90X3, even beginners

6. The nutrition plan goes back to nutrition basics of Power 90 and healthy eating

7. There are 16 workouts in the P90X3 base System

8. The Deluxe package has 4 extra routines for a total of 20

9. P90X3 will include a new Pilates based workout...

10. P90X3 will also include an all new Isometrics workout- A New Strength/Balance/Flexibility workout with Static Holds

11. And it will include CVX: Cardiovascular Extreme - a Cardio workout with weights

12. And P90X3 has MMX - a Mixed Martial Arts Extreme that expands the Kenpo workout

13. Includes Agility X- All new agility programming

14. And yes, Yoga is still part of the program, but it's only 30 mins

15. There are 4 schedules in X3- classic, lean, doubles, and bulk

16. 39 out of 40 people in the Test group lost 10% of their body fat %!!!!! (Whoa! How awesome is that?!)

17. If you've done P90X or P90X2, you'll see similar moves and all new stuff too

18. Equipment needed will include weights or bands (a pull-up bars is great like in P90X, but optional)

19. Every move in X3 has a Beginner/Modified, In between move, and Challenging/Hard

20. This program is based on science that suggests the first 30 minutes is the most effective part of any exercise routine, so we accelerate the workouts to create the most effective 30 minute routine

21. Ab Moves- Most of them are athletic in nature, some are standing up and many are front facing instead of being on your back

22. P90X3 will be available December 10, 2013

We HATE P90X!

Just kidding.... My FIRST Fitness LOVE was P90X!

Why?

Because... it got me:

  • OFF the couch.
  • Un-addicted to Double Stuffed Oreos
  • 13lbs LIGHTER
  • 10% LESS body fat
  • ....and a WHOLE lot more CONFIDENT in my body!

There is NO DOUBT that P90X delivers REAL results!

Especially paired with Shakeology! I started my journey with the P90X Challenge Pack January 1st, 2013 & NEVER looked back!

I remember my LAST P90X workout was on my birthday, March 31st 2013! That was the BEST birthday! I was finally NOT a quitter. I could HONESTLY say I NEVER skipped a workout for the entire 90 days....

But... MY GOSH... that was some MENTAL strength!

The workouts are SO LONG for most people... Most people do not want to spend 60 minutes a day working out - or 90 minutes doing Yoga - especially people who are JUST STARTING on their fitness journey.

Now there are only 9 days left until the official release of P90X3!!

You can get it from me at an introductory price starting on the 10th!
It's not a graduate program - so its no biggie if you never did P90X or P90X2 (or if they are collecting dust on your shelf).

P90X3 is insane.... 30 minute workouts!!

Think of P90X in half the time!

If you are like me & LOVE strength training and intense workouts but don't have hours to spend at the gym ... then you need to check out X3!
I got amazing results from P90X! I will always attribute the start of my fitness journey to P90X... but if X3 would've been available... I DEFINITELY would've chosen SHORTER workouts!

I cannot wait to start X3

I will be running a P90X3 test group with an exclusive number of participants. Details to come!!!  But get signed up now to be on the list to get the details!

Make sure you have a customer account with me as your coach! And you will get all the details!!

ROAST CHICKEN & SWEET POTATOES

Caramelized sweet potatoes and red onion are the bed for chicken thighs that cook up fast in a very hot oven—perfect for a quick healthy chicken dinner. Serve with a fall salad of mixed greens, sliced apples and blue cheese.

INGREDIENTS:
2 tablespoons whole-grain or Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme or 2 teaspoons dried
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
1/2 teaspoon salt, divided
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper, divided
1 1/2-2 pounds bone-in chicken thighs, skin removed
2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
1 large red onion, cut into 1-inch wedges

PREPARATION:
Position rack in lower third of oven; preheat to 450°F. Place a large rimmed baking sheet in the oven to preheat.
Combine mustard, thyme, 1 tablespoon oil and 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper in a small bowl; spread the mixture evenly on chicken.
Toss sweet potatoes and onion in a bowl with the remaining 1 tablespoon oil and 1/4 teaspoon each salt and pepper. Carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven and spread the vegetables on it. Place the chicken on top of the vegetables.
Return the pan to the oven and roast, stirring the vegetables once halfway through, until the vegetables are tender and beginning to brown and an instant-read thermometer inserted into a chicken thigh registers 165°F, 30 to 35 minutes.

NUTRITION:
408 calories; 0 g added sugars; 27 g protein; 5 g fiber

Weight Loss: How do you measure your progress?

Is the SCALE Your Go-To Tool for Weight loss Progress?

I used to be a SLAVE to the scale. Now, I am completely against the idea of letting the scale decide your success. In some cases the scale can be your worst enemy.

The number on the scale is not the most important thing to keep an eye on. You must understand the difference between muscle and fat. Muscle is very GOOD for the body, and as most understand excessive FAT is NOT GOOD for the body.

When we exercise, we burn fat (which often results in losing weight); however, exercising also helps build muscle which means that we gain weight as well. If all we do to measure our progress is WEIGH ourselves, we will be missing out on all the IMPROVEMENTS being made to our physique!

If we could only shift our mindset to GETTING FIT and not merely LOSING WEIGHT. Yes, your weight can be an indication of how fit you are but it is not the only way to judge your fitness level OR your progress towards your fitness goals.

While 1lb of muscle is equal to 1lb of fat, muscle takes up MUCH less space. The result of a body with lean muscle is a smaller & tighter physique.

These changes can be measured in different ways:

1. You can take regular measurements to see improvements.
It is very important to keep an eye on the changes as these will tell you if your ‘workout plan’ is effective or if you are hitting a “plateau.”

2. It is also a good idea to take pictures of yourself intermittentlyas this is where I have seen the MOST changes!
3. Many people measure progress by how their clothes fit them. Do you look better in it now? Does it fit better? Is the shirt tighter or lose?

So, hopefully you will use the scale as ONE progress tool, and not the ULTIMATE measurement of progress! Remember that a healthy lifestyle & a fitness transformation is a JOURNEY!

PiYo - by Chalene Johnson

When I first heard of PiYo, I had no clue what it was all about. I knew it must be awesome, because Chalene Johnson is awesome, in my eyes at least. She is one of the best fitness experts in the US today and the world seems to agree with that. She created PiYo about ten years ago and says it is like “yoga or pilates for hyper people.”

She is a New York Times best selling author of PUSH, creater of the FREE 30 day push online (www.30daypush.com) and creator of Turbo Jam, Turbo Fire, & ChaLEAN Extreme. PiYo is especially designed to add flexibility and strength to the body. This is a mixture of intense and unique choreography that is fun, challenging and result oriented.

I’ve done my research on the topic and was surprised to see the benefits of PiYo. This technique by Chalene works on core and abdominal strength while adding stability to the body. I was able to do a PiYo workout at this year’s Super Sunday event through Beachbody. I did it along side 2 friends and we all had a GREAT workout!

There is news about PiYo possibly being available through a DVD program SOON!! Also, you can become PiYo certified if you’d like!!

The mixture of energy with the moves worked well and is a good blend. It will keep you motivated so that you give your best and don’t get bored. It ensures that you STRETCH… which, let’s be honest, most people SKIP that part!

The exercises are truly unique and are bound to give good results. I was sweating a TON at the end of my first PiYo workout! I am sure you will love it too!

Plus, Chalene Johnson, is just AWESOME!
